Over 5000 people have been involved for you to have the opportunity to use Sancho. The ingredients used in Sancho come from Nepal.

Herbs and medicinal herbs are a valuable natural asset in the Royal Kingdom of Nepal and have been used since ancient times. There are many myths and historical tales about what the herbs from the Himalayas, “The Roof of the World” can do for both people and animals.

Under his Majesty´s government the HPPCL was founded in 1981, as the first company in the country consisting of researchers and scientists, with a view to administer this wealth of herbs and medicinal herbs. Today the company delivers ingredients to be used in pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs and perfume preparation.

The herbs that are part of Sancho are of the best quality and originate partly from wild growing herbs that have been collected, partly from private cultivations and also from HPPCL:s own cultivations along the slopes of the Himalayas.

600 families cultivate herbs for the company. 5000 employees are involved with collecting the herbs. The company has 160 employees, of which 110 are engineers and scientists, who work in the factories where the herbs are refined.

Quality control is important and has the highest priority to the company as it is a requirement for HPPCL in delivering the ingredients to international companies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs and perfume preparation and so on.
